B.Science (BIM)

David holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in BIM (Digital Construction) from Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin), a Higher Certificate in Building and Civil Works Projects and a Higher Certificate in Drafting for Buildings and Civil Works from the Philippine Island Institute Technology, Madrid (Spain).

With over 6 years of experience as a BIM/CAD Technician in various civil and structural engineering consultancies in Ireland, David has worked on both small and large-scale projects, including residential, commercial, educational, and healthcare developments.

David also brings more than 20 years of experience in the construction sector in Spain, focusing on project management, planning and cost control for large-scale projects, including heritage building restorations and infrastructure construction with leading companies.

He has spent over 4 years at D. Fallon Consulting Engineers, where he played a key role in the development of planning, tender, and construction documentation. His responsibilities included structural Revit modelling, 2D drawings & detailing, and generating Bar Bending Schedules, among other tasks.

In recent years, David has specialised in BIM processes, which he has applied at DFCE to help implement and refine BIM practices and adapt them to the company’s requirements in the role of BIM Manager.
