Melusi Ncube holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Civil and Water Engineering and an MSc in Construction Project Management from The National University of Science and Technology of Zimbabwe (NUST). He is currently finishing his studies for an MEng in Road and Transportation Engineering from the Atlantic Technological University Sligo, Ireland.

Melusi has been involved in various land development projects in Zimbabwe, South Africa, and Ireland. He has worked as a municipality water engineer, construction manager for a contractor, and a consultant design engineer. Melusi has gained experience as a designer, implementer, and administrator of civil works and infrastructure projects. His areas of expertise and interest lie in drainage design and hydraulic modelling.

Some of the clients Melusi has worked with include County and City Councils, private bodies, parastatals and individual homeowners, etc. Typical projects he has worked on include drainage design for Roads Active Travel Schemes in Letterkenny and Killmallock, management of the upgrades to the Virginia Wastewater treatment plant, management of the civil works and installations of train protection system along the Irish rail Dublin to Cork network, Civil and Structural designs for Refilwe Stadium, South Africa, drainage designs for the rehabilitation of collapsed sewers in Lakeview, Madubes suburbs, Plumtree.

Melusi works with DFCE staff as part of a design team to deliver projects nationwide. Currently, Melusi is working with a design team to deliver a civil works package for a 345 apartment project in Galway.
